A note from the founders

Why we started Morphis

"We've spent our careers inside law firms, professional services firms and other businesses, including Kennedys, Clifford Chance, KPMG and VML. We watched firms invest heavily in technology and operational change, then struggle to show what it returned. The technology usually worked. How the change was run, and whether people used it day to day, decided the return.

At one global law firm, three weeks spent matching statements of work to invoices recovered £1m from a single client. That value is sitting in most firms, and AI is raising the stakes. Clients expect faster, better value, and AI only delivers it where the operating model is ready.

Morphis exists to find that value by supporting firms, on a fixed price, with our commitments in writing."

Results our founders have delivered

Change we've led, and what it returned

New revenue model

Kennedys iQ: growing new revenue and increasing market share

The situation
A leading international insurance law firm faced a consolidating market and a race to the bottom on price.
What changed
Established novel technology solutions used directly by insurers, then launched a standalone insurtech business to oversee delivery. The business grew a new revenue stream and an equity structure independent of the core partnership.
Technology strategy for growth

Kennedys: faster entry into new markets

The situation
An international law firm with an ambitious cross-border expansion plan lacked a technology platform that could scale with it.
What changed
Designed and delivered a technology strategy and modernisation programme. The firm entered new markets quickly, consolidated fragmented systems and gained a platform built for long-term international growth.
AI-enabled resource management

VML Enterprise Solutions: 40% faster time to revenue, £500k a year saved

The situation
A multi-country professional services business couldn't staff client teams within contracted timeframes, creating reputational risk and delayed revenue.
What changed
Designed and implemented an AI-enabled resource-management capability. Time to revenue fell by 40%, annual operating costs fell by £500k, and client satisfaction and delivery consistency improved.
Operational value recovery

VML Enterprise Solutions: supporting growth from $150m to $250m

The situation
A technology division of a global creative agency had grown through acquisition but lacked the infrastructure to run a $250m business efficiently.
What changed
Built a new operating model across seven European entities, covering governance, process, organisation, systems and data. It supported revenue growth while delivery quality, client retention and margin improved.
